When I watch TV these days I see more and more commericals about selling your old gold or getting rid of scrap gold to make a little bit of cash. I've seen then before but these days it seems they play more then ever before... Maybe because of the condition of the economy and the way gold prices are today. But heck, what do I know I'm no expert.
I sold some old jewelry before with a few different companies some of which had TV commericals. In the end I was pretty happy with the results but did have to spend some time and energy testing and comparing all these different places.
The company that I liked the most overall was Cash4Gold. They had a simple website and they seemed to be one of the biggest in the old jewelry refining business. They send you the kit and you end them your items. Then you get an offer which you can then accept and get your money or reject and get your items back.

I have also used Dollars4Gold with great results. They're customer service was great. I think they're a bit smaller then Cash4Gold but I was really happy with both.
